17 February 2014 – McLaren Kuala Lumpur recently hosted ‘An Evening with EO and McLaren’ for 60 members of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Malaysia at their showroom in Mutiara Damansara. The event, dubbed ‘The Power Play Series – Vol. 1’, provided members of EO the chance to engage and learn from each other through shared experiences and expertise, as well as an opportunity to network.
Held on February 17, 2014, Simon Rock, the Director of Sime Darby Auto Britannia Sdn Bhd officiated and kicked off the event with a ‘learning talk’, sharing the success story of how McLaren became the top Formula 1 team as well as renowned super car designer and manufacturer.
Guest speaker Mr Mark Leow, Group Managing Director of Verity Intelligence Sdn Bhd also played a part by sharing the importance of conducting background checks and due diligence processes when it comes to employing staff and exploring new business ventures and partnerships.
All ‘talks’ aside, members were given a chance to experience the Volcano Yellow MP4-12C in all its glory, with Mr Terence Chee, McLaren Kuala Lumpur’s Sales Manager also educating members on the car’s features.
Towards the end of the session, the crowd was pleasantly surprised as they were presented with treats and gifts, courtesy of McLaren. The event, which was also graced by the EO President, Mr Simon Lim, then ended with a cocktail and networking session.
