Details: An IT Firm came across a very impressive candidate, with exact skills and experience they were looking for. As the candidate was going to be contracted to their client, the candidate would need to have a cleared Employment Background Screening report before starting work. This was their client’s policy for all staff. Through a series of effort in calling, emailing and research work, we discovered that the candidate’s employment history in several companies were actually fake.
These companies are established purely to sell employment history. Their ‘HR Department’ will then verify all details and confirm the candidate’s employment in the company, when called. For a fee, how easy it is to have a good resume.
